About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Management Principal to join our team at Randstad Digital. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping our data management strategy and ensuring the consistency of spatial data provided by various agencies for Spatial WA.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Data Management Framework: Oversee the development and implementation of the data management framework for Spatial WA, setting standards for and ensuring the consistency of spatial data.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to improve data management practices and processes across Government, including planning and coordinating tasks and activities.
  • Process Improvement and Analysis: Research, analyze, and identify process improvement opportunities to improve the value of spatial data supporting key government outcomes.
  • Community of Practice and Standardization: Implement a community of practice for continuous improvement to data sharing and collaboration platforms, including the standardization of metadata standards and common information models across State and Local Governments.
  • Support and Coordination: Coordinate and provide support where required across the delivery streams of Spatial WA.
  • Expertise and Advice: Maintain an expert level of skill and knowledge in a technical area/sand related legislation, regulation, and policies, providing expert information and advice to internal and external stakeholders on complex technical matters.
  • Strategic Partnerships: Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across Landgate to facilitate service delivery.
  • Legislation and Policy: Actively participate in, and contribute to the development, management, and achievement of relevant legislation, corporate policies, standards, and procedures.
