Job Description

Job Title: Deputy Principal

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Principal to join our team at Collier Primary School. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving educational excellence and supporting the growth and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and guidance to teachers and staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning practices
  • Develop and implement school-wide initiatives to improve student outcomes and achievement
  • Collaborate with the Principal and other senior leaders to develop and implement school policies and procedures
  • Manage and allocate resources to support teaching and learning programs
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to teachers to improve their practice and student outcomes

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Deputy Principal or in a similar leadership role
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with staff, students, and parents
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a focus on achieving shared goals and outcomes
