Job Title: HSEQ Manager

The role of HSEQ Manager is a senior leadership position responsible for the provision of effective management and leadership to the Aviation and Critical Services HSEQ department.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing practical, hands-on HSEQ systems management and support to operations in order to assist in the facilitation of the highest practical standards of safety, environment and quality performance and regulatory compliance.
  • Championing the HSEQ management systems and company culture, through assisting the Head of HSEQ in the development of safety promotion, education and training tailored to the Aviation and Critical Services operation.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • A highly experienced leader managing multi-disciplinary teams and providing safety management services within high risk or high reliability industries such as aviation operational, flight experience or aircraft maintenance.
  • Experience in conducting operational HSEQ audits, leading accident/incident investigations, conducting trend analysis as well as facilitation of operational risk assessments.
  • Sound knowledge of Civil Aviation Safety Authority and WH&S legislation, and Operational Risk Management.
  • Vocational or Tertiary qualification in Health and Safety or Quality Management (or other relevant field).
  • Qualification as a Lead Auditor.
  • Safety Investigation qualifications such as ICAM or Aviation Accident Investigation.
  • Certificate IV in workplace training and assessment (Desirable).
