About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Workforce Development Team as a Curriculum and Training Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development and implementation of comprehensive training programs for early intervention providers across the state.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage complex training structures, ensuring consistency and accessibility statewide.
  • Collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality training programs.
  • Provide clear and concise written guidance materials, including technical assistance documents and practice guides.
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations, state laws, and DCYF policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain a training resource library, ensuring materials are up-to-date and based on current best practices.
  • Analyze data to identify statewide training and support needs.
Requirements
  • Equivalent education and professional experience totaling eight (8) years of experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering early childhood education, child development, social, financial, or health services programs or closely related field.
OR
  • A Bachelor's degree AND four (4) years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering early childhood education, child development, social, financial, or health services programs or closely related field.
OR
  • A Master's degree AND two (2) years of professional experience in planning, administering, developing, or delivering early childhood education, child development, social, financial, or health services programs or closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in early intervention, early childhood special education, or related discipline.
  • Experience with research-based analytics, including the use of Logic Models to plan, implement, and evaluate complex, comprehensive, and statewide early intervention Systemic Improvement Plans.
  • Prior work experience displaying excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the proven ability to make clear presentations to diverse groups.
