Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Max Solutions. As a Clinical Psychologist (Specialist Workforce Development), you will play a critical role in providing cognitive assessments and reports to support the educational planning of students with high needs.

• Conduct comprehensive cognitive assessments in schools, using standardized tools such as the WPPSI-IV, WISC-V, and WAIS-IV.
• Develop and submit detailed reports to the Victorian Department of Education, adhering to their requirements and guidelines.
• Collaborate with our senior professional team to ensure high-quality assessments and reports.
• Participate in ongoing professional learning and development to maintain expertise in cognitive assessment and reporting.
• Occasionally travel to remote and regional areas within Victoria, with some overnight stays if required, to conduct assessments and provide support to schools.

• General or provisional registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Experience administering cognitive assessments, with a strong understanding of standardized tools and protocols.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise reports.
• Ability to prioritize, plan, and organize workflow to tight timeframes, handling multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities.
• Proven high-level IT literacy, particularly in common applications such as Microsoft Office and database management.
• Hold or be able to obtain a new Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.
