Job Description:

Stargazing Tour Guides at Wentworth Falls, in the Blue Mountains on weekends.

As a member of our team, you will inspire guests and guide out-of-this-world stargazing tours. You will be joining a group of passionate astronomers and co-hosts who are dedicated to creating WOW moments in nature.

Our mission is to take guests on a journey of discovering the sky through ancient and modern times. We strive to create an inclusive space that reflects the diverse communities we welcome to our tours.

Whether you're an astronomy enthusiast or simply love sharing your knowledge with others, this role is perfect for someone who is passionate about teaching and guiding.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent knowledge of astronomy and current space news
  • Exceptional people skills and interpersonal skills
  • Confidence in public speaking
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate scientific information to people of all ages and levels
  • Demonstrated teaching and/or guiding experience in astronomy is preferred
  • Proficiency in using the most recent computerised telescopes is a plus

Additionally, you must have a valid working visa and a current car driver's license.
