The SBS Settlement Guide is an essential resource for new Australians, providing skills, knowledge and understanding across topics like employment, health and safety, language, education and more.

The Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Settlement Guide Editor to plan and produce content, ensuring fresh offerings while considering operational lifecycles.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders including external and internal producers, content and online teams, and other divisional stakeholders.
  • Provide direction and guidance to Executive Producers, Producers and Senior Producers on operational planning, ensuring adherence to editorial policies and guidelines.
  • Undertake work reflecting SBS's Charter, Vision and Values, and complying with relevant policies, procedures and practices.

About You

You are a motivated individual with professional broadcast and text journalism experience. You excel in writing and producing factual content, recording, editing and publishing audio podcasts, and curating content for social media feeds.

You can plan ahead, analyse content, anticipate audience needs and communicate effectively across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.
