Job Title: Payroll Officer

The role of a Payroll Officer is crucial in ensuring the smooth processing of payroll data. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all payroll-related tasks, including new employee details, award increases, variations to contract or conditions, and terminations.

The ideal candidate should have sound knowledge and understanding of Awards, preferably within the health industry. Experience with Chris21 is preferred but not essential. You should also have rostering experience and a minimum of five years previous payroll experience, preferably within the health industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll data accurately and within strict timeframes.
  • Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and high-quality service at all times.
  • Respond to payroll queries in a timely and courteous manner.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. You should also be highly organized, able to prioritize tasks effectively, and work well under pressure. Additionally, you should be proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in word processing.

  • Sound knowledge and understanding of Awards (preferably within the health industry).
  • Chris21 experience (preferred but not essential).
  • Rostering experience.
