Our College is seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to fill the role of Deputy Head of Secondary.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and dedicated Christian educator who will support the Head of Secondary in managing Years 7-12, overseeing student wellbeing initiatives, and ensuring alignment with College policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead operational management of Years 7-12 in collaboration with the Head of Secondary.
  • Implement student wellbeing initiatives that align with the College's purpose and values.
  • Develop and deliver wellbeing and pastoral care services through effective leadership of the Wellbeing Team.
  • Ensure student discipline and wellbeing practices are aligned with College policies.
Requirements:
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ and active involvement in a local church community.
  • Strong understanding of child safety principles and ability to implement safeguarding policies.
  • Current registration with NESA as a secondary teacher, preferably with qualifications in wellbeing.
  • Proven experience in providing leadership and operational support for a Secondary School.
  • Excellent skills in managing student behaviour and addressing sensitive issues.
