About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our team in Central Coast, Australia. You will be working with participants living in the region, providing personalized supports to help them achieve their objectives and enhance their independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing.
Your Responsibilities- Manage an allocated caseload and provide timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardized assessments
- Interpret findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to help participants improve their quality of life and meet their goals
- Mentor and nurture early career clinicians
- Maintain awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
