We are expanding our team of dedicated professionals who support individuals with disabilities in the Wollongong and Nowra regions. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing life-changing support that improves independence, access, development, health, and wellbeing for our participants.
You'll be part of a multi-disciplinary team that offers a range of services including childcare centres, schools, aged care facilities, day programs, community settings, homes, and clinic spaces. No two days are ever the same, and you'll have the opportunity to work in diverse environments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing an allocated caseload and delivering timely therapeutic services
- Assessing participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity through clinical observations and standardised assessments
- Interpreting findings to formulate treatment goals unique to each participant
- Providing evidence-based interventions to enhance participants' quality of life and meet their goals
- Mentoring and nurturing early career clinicians
- Maintaining awareness of current legislation to ensure compliance

To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- Current registration with AHPRA as an Occupational Therapist
- Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
- A proactive attitude and interest in continually developing your skills
- Experience in mentoring and supervising other Occupational Therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
