As a seasoned occupational therapist, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality support services to participants in need. Your expertise and passion for occupational therapy will make a significant difference in the lives of our clients.
You will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to assess, plan, and implement tailored therapeutic interventions that meet each participant's unique needs and goals. Strong time management and organisational skills are essential to effectively manage a varied caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage an allocated caseload and deliver timely therapeutic services
- Assess participants' developmental, cognitive, emotional, psychological, and physical function and capacity
- Formulate treatment goals tailored to each participant and implement evidence-based interventions
- Mentor early career clinicians and contribute to their professional growth
- Stay informed about relevant legislation to ensure compliance

- Current registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Excellent time management and organisational skills

- Experience mentoring and supervising other therapists
- A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
