Our company is seeking an experienced Transport Planner to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for planning and scheduling of fleet operations to ensure efficient delivery of goods to customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Daily operational control of SCT Fleet, Semi, Rigid & sub-contractors.
  • Daily scheduling and planning to ensure efficient PUD deliveries to customers.
  • Communicate with both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Monitoring and supporting activities of drivers to ensure company and customer standards are met.
  • Recording daily activities.
  • Reconciliation of subcontractor payments.
  • Assisting with KPI recording.
  • Preparing run sheets, manifests and consignments.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in the transport industry preferably in a FMCG warehouse or transit terminal environment.

Requirements:
  • Sound knowledge of the Perth metropolitan area.
  • The ability to ensure OHS requirements are met.
  • The ability to work to within Safety, Quality Systems and procedures.
  • A sound knowledge of the transport industry regulations and OHS requirements including Chain of Responsibility & Load Restraint.
  • SAP knowledge/experience would be advantageous.
  • The ability to work unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation.
  • Customer service focuses with excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, including the ability to communicate effectively at all levels of business.
  • Strong organisational skills with strong computer literacy.
