Job Title:

A Transportation Planner with expertise in designing and implementing traffic management plans is required to work collaboratively with stakeholders. This role involves creating tailored solutions that meet the needs of diverse groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing and recommending generic and hybrid traffic management plans for optimal results
  • Providing detailed briefings to Roadworks Traffic Managers on complex traffic arrangements for approval
  • Reviewing internal and external proposed traffic management plans on behalf of the road authority

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in developing traffic management plans for implementation, including estimating resource requirements
  • Effective negotiation skills for securing approvals from key stakeholders
  • Collaboration with Roadworks Traffic Managers to obtain approvals for working at/near signals
  • Understanding and/or experience using AS1742.3 and Traffic Management for Works on Roads - Code of Practice
  • Basic and Advanced Worksite Traffic Management certifications
