About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Hospitality Professional to join our team at Trippas White Group. As a Catering Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive food service experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the team in frontline food service, cash register sales, and barista level coffee service
- Prepare and present food to a high standard, including excellent sandwich preparation skills
- Operate cash registers, EPOS systems, and espresso machines with confidence
- Work in a commercial kitchen environment, including food processors and combi ovens
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene
Requirements
- Previous Hospitality experience (minimum 2 years) in a similar retail food position
- Retail customer sales and counter service experience
- Food preparation and presentation skills, including excellent sandwich preparation skills
- Cash register, EPOS, and espresso machine experience
- Prior experience in a commercial kitchen environment
- Food and hygiene food safety certificates preferred
