Job Overview

The Field Inventory Analyst role at a leading healthcare technology company is based in Brisbane, supporting business units and field teams in managing inventory processes across Queensland and New Zealand. The position reports to a Director and requires collaboration with multiple teams to optimize inventory management.

A Day in the Life

An internal growth opportunity for an Inventory Analyst based in Brisbane. You will work closely with field teams to ensure accurate inventory tracking and support phase-in/phase-out requirements. You will participate in process improvements around inventory management and develop solutions with stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with field teams to track and manage consignment inventory
  • Support supply chain and marketing teams during phase-in/phase-out situations
  • Manage obsolete and expired stock
  • Develop and implement process improvements around inventory management
  • Work with business units to set up Product Allocation Requests (PAR) levels
  • Conduct analysis on optimal inventory levels
  • Perform physical inventory counts
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience in inventory control
  • Experience or willingness to operate in a customer-facing role is essential
  • Willingness to travel as required for the role (20-25% in Brisbane)
  • Proficiency in SAP is an advantage
