Inventory Management Specialist

The role of Inventory Management Specialist is pivotal in supporting our business units and their respective teams in managing consignment inventory seamlessly across Queensland and New Zealand.
- To work with the field team to ensure that SAP accurately reflects what is at consignment stock locations.
- Assist supply chain / Marketing with consignment requirements during phase-in/phase-out situations.
- Management of obsolescence / expired stock.
- Assist with continued process improvements around the consignment management process.
- Work with the respective business units to setup PAR levels.
- Carry out analysis on the appropriate field stock levels.
- Conducts physical inventory counts.
- Support and drive continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Champion best practices in inventory control and contribute to process improvement projects.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years relevant experience in inventory control required.
- Experience or willingness to operate in a customer facing role is essential.
- Willingness to travel as required for the role (20-25% in Brisbane).
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
