About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled BIM Designer with expertise in fire protection systems to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-value, future-focused data centre projects with advanced fire protection systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce coordinated BIM models and detailed documentation across all project stages.
  • Model complex fire protection systems including sprinklers, hydrants, hose reels, gaseous suppression, detection and alarm systems, and passive fire protection elements.
  • Support project delivery from concept to construction, ensuring model accuracy, constructability, and compliance with BIM standards and fire safety regulations.
  • Implement and maintain BIM workflows, contribute to digital coordination, and support clash detection processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a BIM Designer/Modeller in building services, ideally within fire protection engineering.
  • Proficiency in Revit is essential; Navisworks, AutoCAD, or BIM360 experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Australian Standards, NCC, and fire protection systems in large-scale facilities.
  • Strong documentation quality, design intent, and model integrity.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills to work with engineers, architects, and clients.
