About the Role

The Yorke and Northern Local Health Network is seeking an experienced clinical speech therapist to join our team. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide clinical services to adults and children with swallowing and communication difficulties.

You will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and community-based facilities, using a range of therapy modes including one-on-one, group, and telehealth sessions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to clients with swallowing and communication difficulties
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for clients with complex needs
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized qualification in speech pathology
  • Eligibility for practicing membership of the Speech Pathology Association of Australia
  • Experience working in a clinical setting, preferably in a rural or remote area
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Estimated Salary

The estimated salary for this role is between $103,476 and $130,286 per annum, depending on your qualifications and experience.

This salary estimate is based on the national average salary ranges for clinical speech therapists in Australia, taking into account factors such as location, qualifications, and experience.
