Job Overview

We are seeking a talented professional to join our Risk and Compliance team. This role will be based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert advisory services on regulatory compliance, financial advice, administration, insurance broking and other key matters to relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and enhance comprehensive compliance frameworks, policies and processes to effectively manage compliance risks.
  • Support the maintenance of an obligations library and establish monitoring mechanisms for compliance practices.
  • Manage financial services and trustee licensing and authorisations for MMC Pacific entities.
  • Undertake conflicts management activities, including governance, conflicts of interest assessments and preparation of conflicts management plans.
  • Review compliance plans for managed investment schemes and product disclosure documentation.
  • Conduct training sessions on compliance frameworks and policies.
Requirements:
  • A minimum 5 years' experience as a compliance professional in a similar role with knowledge of Australian financial services regulations.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to provide strategic advice to senior executives and Board stakeholders.
  • Ability to drive positive outcomes and bring about change within a large organisation.
