ServiceNow Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow specialist to join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of ServiceNow solutions.

  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow configurations, including components, integrations, workflows, and persona-based designs; contribute to organisational change management, training, and user enablement.
  • Design and configure ServiceNow modules and integrations, aligning out-of-the-box capabilities with business outcomes, ensuring security, cost optimisation, and high platform performance and reliability.
  • Champion platform best practices for development, deployment, release, and Evergreen maintenance; remediate customisations, support continuous updates, and enable low/no-code maturity across teams.
  • Lead and collaborate across architects, developers, analysts, and stakeholders to consolidate requirements, support automation, improve integration, and ensure delivery of valuable, documented solutions.
  • Coordinate platform operations, including resource scheduling, reporting, workload management, process improvement, mentoring team members, and engaging with vendors to maintain a best-practice implementation.
About You
  • Ideal candidate is an experienced ITSM professional with background in ServiceNow solution architecture, development, technical business analysis or system administration. The role requires strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and customer-focused mindset.
  • Demonstrates creative problem-solving skills in complex, customised ServiceNow environments, with preference for low-code, out-of-the-box solutions. Shows accountability for end-to-end design, ensuring stability, scalability, and sustainable outcomes.
  • Works effectively in agile, collaborative environments, embracing rapid prototyping, partnering with process owners, and proactively identifying priorities without waiting for direction. Strong judgement, ownership, and willingness to step in on critical issues are essential.
  • Holds or willing to maintain ServiceNow certifications, such as Certified Technical Architect or System Administrator; bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems or equivalent, with ITIL certification highly regarded.
  • Brings hands-on ServiceNow expertise in administration, development, and architecture; skilled in ITSM operations, stakeholder workshops, cybersecurity, documentation, automation, and orchestration. Strong planning, mentoring, and communication skills.
  • This role requires Australian Citizenship and NV-1 level security clearance.
