SAP Data Migration Manager\

As a SAP Data Migration Manager, you will be responsible for delivering a range of SAP implementation and data migration projects for various clients. This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced SAP professional who has a strong understanding of SAP systems and their integration with data management strategies.

This position is a hybrid role based in Melbourne or Sydney. You will lead end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and integrity of data transferred from legacy systems to SAP platforms.

  • Define data migration strategy, architecture, and conversion test cycles.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements.
  • Design and implement data mapping, transformation, and validation processes using data migration toolset such as SAP Data Services, LSMW, BAPI, LTMC or others like Syniti ADM.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, maintaining data quality and governance standards.
  • Evaluate the impact of data migration on process, solutions, interfaces, and integration.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing concerns or queries.
\Required Skills and Qualifications\

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience leading E2E SAP data migration projects, with in-depth knowledge of SAP modules and associated data migration tools across greenfield, brownfield, or SDT migrations.
  • Proficiency in SAP Data Services, LSMW, LTMC, and other 3rd party ETL tools for data mapping, transformation, and validation.
  • Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management with experience using MS Project.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience in data quality assurance and governance practices.
  • Familiarity with relevant data protection and privacy regulations and expertise in data masking and scrambling in data migration.
  • Certifications in SAP modules or data migration tools.
