Our organization is seeking an experienced Material QA/QC Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quality assurance and control, with a proven track record of ensuring compliance with relevant specifications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing and monitoring material requirements, as well as coordinating with the procurement department to ensure timely delivery and inspection of materials.

In addition to their technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications or related discipline such as Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • White Card

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience working in the Construction Industry in a similar role
  • Experience working on large-scale construction projects
  • Good understanding of Quality Specifications (Q6) and ISO AS/NZS 9001 requirements
  • Sound experience and knowledge of construction materials and related specifications

Core Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

  • Establish project quality systems for maintaining permanent supplies records and traceability
  • Ensure compliance of all relevant permanent supplies and accompanying documentation
  • Coordinate with procurement department for the delivery and inspection of all types of permanent supplies
  • Arranging testing of permanent supplies in accordance with approved ITPs
  • Report Non-Conformances immediately following their identification
  • Assessing Quality Records to ensure compliance and ensuring records are updated in the electronic and hard files in a timely and efficient manner
