Job Title: Construction Specialist
In this role, you will work on building construction sites, utilizing your technical skills to ensure high-quality outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:
- Inspecting and interpreting architectural plans to identify potential issues and implement solutions.
- Collaborating with other professionals to determine the materials and tools required for each project.
- Erecting and dismantling scaffolding, taking necessary safety precautions to prevent accidents.
- Constructing structures using various types of blocks, tiles, boards, and stone, ensuring stability and durability.
- Laying bricks in rows, designs, and shapes, applying mortar between joints and removing excess material.
- Embedding blocks in mortar and reinforcing foundations with suitable materials.
- Securing bricks with wire clamps or cement to achieve a strong and stable structure.
- Repairing and maintaining building blocks to extend their lifespan.
Requirements: A Certificate III/IV in Bricklaying or equivalent qualification and at least 1 year of relevant experience.
