About this role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Testing Competency Lead to join our team. As a senior strategic leader, you will be responsible for defining and driving the Bank's Enterprise Testing and integrated environments.

You will manage releases, policies, processes and frameworks for Testing generally and for each specialisation (performance, accessibility, data and data migration, service virtualisation). You will set the improvement programs for the year, and the associated targets that will be met.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and being the custodian of the Bank's enterprise testing frameworks.
  • Automating as much as possible using industry leading tools.
  • Uplifting the capability of each area of specialisation.
  • Staying abreast of industry trends in the performance testing space.
  • Working with the ET & IER leadership team to set metrics and approach to measurement for Practices, Services, delivery teams (supplier and internal).

About you

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in Test Management, including managing all facets of testing for medium to large, complex software projects.
  • Proficiency in Test automation and at least one specialisation.
  • Proven experience in developing policies, processes, standards and frameworks and to drive improvement programs.
  • Experience in uplifting team members to create a high performing team that are delivery focused.
