Lead Quarry Operations

This role is a multi-faceted position leading the quarry operations and overseeing daily management, health & safety, operational and financial activities.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage people to achieve goals
  • Making business decisions impacting overall performance, including planning, budgeting and managing costs within limits
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including quarry development, storm water and environmental management, and maintenance schedules
  • Focus on continuing our approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation as a responsible and sustainable partner
  • Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high-risk activities to reduce risk exposure for self and others

About You

  • You have a minimum 10 years of leadership experience in a quarry or mine
  • You can support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain process to establish good performance through insight and innovative planning
  • You possess a strong Leadership mentality with a demonstrated track record in delivering transformational change within a complex business environment.
  • You are an exceptional negotiator and influencer when interacting with various stakeholders
  • You have a safety mindset with a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
  • You are a team player who can multitask and make quick effective decisions under pressure
  • You have a positive presence in building strong relationships with key stakeholders
  • You have a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing situations
