Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager Aggregates, this role is a multi-faceted role leading the quarry operations and overseeing the daily management, health & safety, operational and financial activities.

**In your new role, you will be**:

- Leading and managing people while bringing your team along the journey to successfully achieve goals
- Making business decisions that impact the overall performance of the business, including achieving agreed targets / KPIs, financial planning, budgeting and managing costs within budget
- Managing the day-to-day operations where you are responsible for quarry development, storm water and environmental management, and preventative maintenance schedules
- Focused on continuing our award-winning approach to rehabilitation and maintaining our reputation within the industry as a responsible and sustainable partner
- Bring a strong safety mindset and manage high risk activities and reduce risk exposure for self and others

**This role is a great fit for you, if**:

- Have a minimum 10 years leadership experience within a quarry or mine
- An ability to support continuous improvement across the Supply Chain process to establish good performance through insight and innovative planning
- A strong Leadership mentality with a demonstrated track record in delivering transformational change within a complex business environment.
- The capability to deliver exceptional negotiation and influencing skills when interacting with varying levels of internal and external stakeholders
- You have a safety mindset with a total commitment to risk management and Zero Harm
- You are a team player who can multi-task and make quick effective decisions under pressure
- You have a positive presence in building strong and effective relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- You have a high level of resilience and adaptability to changing situations
