Kirinari Community Services is seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join our team as Casual Disability Support Workers. As a valued member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our customers, providing support and care in their day-to-day living.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to our customers in our supported independent living accommodation settings. This will include assisting with domestic and personal care tasks, as well as supporting our customers to access and engage with their community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct support to customers with a range of needs, including domestic and personal care assistance
  • Assist customers to access and engage with their community
  • Work collaboratively with the care team to ensure high-quality care and support is provided
  • Participate in training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Ability and willingness to work shift work, including regular sleepovers and active nights
  • Resilience, confidence, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop positive relationships
  • Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement
  • Ability to use computers and learn a variety of software and programs
  • Current Driver's Licence
