Office Administration Manager Job Description

This is a hands-on opportunity to grow a career with an established business. The role involves sales, finance, and operations.

  • The successful candidate will oversee financial management, products, sales, and inventory control while maintaining a strong team culture.

In this pivotal position, you will learn from the existing General Manager during a probationary period. After this period, you'll maintain and grow your responsibilities as the new General Manager for the organisation.

Your key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing sales activities, preparing quotations, and delivering exceptional customer service.
  2. Leading stock ordering, inventory control, and warehouse coordination.
  3. Supporting operational tasks such as packing orders, stock receiving, and warehouse organisation when needed.
  4. Managing office administration, including ordering supplies and maintaining facilities.
  5. Providing leadership, mentorship, and training to a small team.
About You

We value exceptional customer service, high-quality products, and industry expertise. As a dynamic company, we operate with a hands-on approach where every team member plays a vital role in our success.

You'll be a practical leader who thrives in a multi-faceted role. Whether you're liaising with clients or supporting operations, you enjoy variety and taking ownership.

You have a business-savvy mindset with strong financial literacy. Confidence in working with numbers, quoting, and problem-solving is essential for managing month end and year end financials.

We're looking for someone with adaptability and a proactive approach. You'll notice what needs doing and take initiative to step in when needed.

Key Requirements:

  • A practical mindset and willingness to learn.
  • Business acumen – financial literacy, commercial awareness, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills – confident liaising with clients and working in a small team.

Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or technical industries would be advantageous.

About the Benefits

In return for your dedication, you will receive:

  • Competitive salary (negotiable based on experience).
  • Performance-related bonuses after the initial probationary period.
  • Company car package options after the initial 12 months.
  • Comprehensive training and leadership transition support.
  • Opportunities for international travel to our European office for training and business development.
  • A supportive, team-oriented work environment in a stable, long-standing business.
