About the Role

At Nikolovski Lawyers, our personal injury team represent plaintiffs and injured persons. You would be responsible for end-to-end management of a file load across a broad range of personal injury matters including public liability, workers compensation, motor vehicle accidents, institutional abuse, medical negligence, dust diseases and total and permanent disablement claims. This includes:

  • Meeting with clients, taking instructions and providing sound legal advice

  • Investigating personal injury claims

  • Drafting applications, court documents, pleadings, particulars, etc.

  • Corresponding with other parties to resolve matters

  • Briefing Counsel

  • Appearing at settlement conferences and mediations

  • Appearing in Court and in the Personal Injury Commission

  • Settling claims and finalisation of matters

About You

To be competitive for this role you must have:

  • Admission to practice law in NSW.

  • At least 1 years PAE in Personal Injury Law in NSW (Either Plaintiff or Defendant).

  • Strong knowledge across various personal injury matters including the associated legislation, guidelines, etc.

  • A good understanding of Court and Personal Injury Commission proceedings.

  • Strong technical legal skills and the ability to draft proficient legal documents.

  • The capability to work autonomously on personal injury matters from initial consultation to conclusion.
