Job Title: Payroll Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Sydney.

About the Role

This contract role is ideal for someone with a strong background in Australian payroll processing, who is confident using SAP SuccessFactors and ideally has experience with Kronos UKG.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with internal HR and Finance teams to support smooth payroll operations.

This role offers a unique chance to utilise your skills and expertise in a fast-paced environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process end-to-end payroll for employees in compliance with legislative requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and payroll data within SuccessFactors.
  • Handle payroll enquiries and provide timely, professional resolution of discrepancies.
  • Conduct payroll reconciliations and assist with reporting for internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with PAYG, superannuation, leave accruals, and Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting requirements.
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years proven experience processing Australian payroll within a medium to large organisation.
  • Strong working knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors is essential.
  • Kronos experience is highly desirable (or similar time and attendance systems).
  • Solid understanding of Australian payroll legislation, tax, and superannuation obligations.
