We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Culturally Sensitive Support Professional to join our team. In this vital role, you will provide tailored support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children, young people, and families, empowering them to reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver culturally safe and responsive case management services that cater to the unique needs of our community members.
  • Built strong relationships with agencies, carers, and families to create sustainable support networks that promote healing, resilience, and well-being.
  • Develop and implement culturally inclusive programs that foster growth, development, and self-determination.
Requirements
  • You are an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person (a genuine occupational requirement under Section 25 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1991).
  • You have a degree qualification in social work, psychology, social science or a related discipline (or equivalent level of expertise with more than 4 years' experience attained through previous appointments, service, and/or study, with a minimum Certificate III in Community Services).
  • You have applied knowledge and understanding of child protection and out-of-home care frameworks, including knowledge of, or the ability to acquire knowledge of, the Child Protection Act 1999.
