A multi-disciplinary scientific role is available in a Biochemistry, Haematology/Coagulation, Stat Micro and Andrology environment.

About the Role:
  • Supervise a laboratory team of medical scientists to ensure smooth workflow and timely results.
  • Prioritize tasks to meet client requirements and liaise with senior staff regarding unusual results.
  • Oversee maintenance of laboratory equipment and address unscheduled issues as needed.
  • Review and update laboratory documentation for accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervising Scientists will be responsible for leading a laboratory team in a high-pressure environment.
  • They must be able to prioritize tasks effectively, manage workload, and maintain open communication with team members.
  • The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor of Science (Medical Science) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a multi-disciplinary scientific role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building partnerships and working under tight deadlines.
  • Results-oriented with proactive problem-solving abilities.
