About the Role

You will lead one of the largest recruitment and workforce mobility functions in Queensland, with strategic oversight of end-to-end attraction, recruitment, and resourcing systems.

Your remit spans enterprise-scale recruitment, capability-matching, digital transformation, and system-level workforce planning — ensuring every school and region across Queensland has access to the right people, at the right time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an enterprise-scale recruitment strategy aligned to future workforce needs and public sector priorities
  • Oversee high-volume recruitment activity across Queensland, ensuring operational efficiency, service excellence, and consistent outcomes
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, processes, and performance, embedding digital solutions and metrics-based decision making
  • Champion a seamless approach to attraction, placement, and mobility, underpinned by strong stakeholder engagement
  • Provide expert advice to senior executives and Ministerial offices
  • BUILD the strategic capability of the function and promote a culture of excellence, customer service, and continuous improvement
