Rosters Officer Position

We are seeking a skilled Rosters Officer to join our team in Melbourne, coordinating staff rostering for Primary Healthcare Services across public prisons in Victoria.

About the Role:

This is a key position within our People & Culture Team and plays an integral role in ensuring staff deployment meets operational needs and contractual obligations.

  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail while working with Health Services Managers.
  • Analyse data and solve problems to resolve queries in a timely manner.
  • Develop organisational skills to multi-task effectively and communicate with staff about payroll, leave, and rosters.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve goals with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintaining accurate records and managing data to inform staffing decisions.
  2. Effective communication and problem-solving to resolve queries and issues.
  3. Organisational skills to prioritise tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  4. Collaboration and teamwork to achieve goals and objectives.
Requirements:
  • A valid full Australian driver's licence.
  • Satisfactory completion of a National Criminal History Check.
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
