Teaching Opportunity in Flexible Learning

At our school, we deliver education that caters to young people who have disengaged from mainstream schooling. Our focus is on re-engagement and building personal agency for positive pathways.

We operate across multiple locations, offering culturally responsive education to students from diverse backgrounds. This includes support for youth justice rehabilitation and reintegration.

The key roles available are:

  • Generalist Secondary Teachers
  • Specialist Teachers in Literacy, Numeracy, and Vocational Skills
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to be well-being focused with experience in student engagement, mentoring, or case management. Demonstrating flexibility, compassion, and resilience in challenging environments is also essential.

  • Be able to differentiate curriculum and build strong relationships with students
  • Thrive in cross-cultural, trauma-informed, and inclusive settings
  • Commit to equity, social justice, and improving outcomes for young people
  • Hold or be eligible for Northern Territory Teacher Registration Board (TRB) registration and a current NT Working with Children Notice (Ochre Card)

  • Competitive salary range: $92,215 – $131,349 based on experience, plus 17.5% leave loading
  • Generous leave entitlements including 6 weeks recreational leave and 4 weeks special leave annually
  • Relocation assistance including moving costs and up to six fortnightly relocation allowance payments
