Lead Remote Education Initiatives

We're seeking a dedicated and results-driven leader to champion tertiary education access and success in East Arnhem Land.

As the key figure in our Regional University Hub, you'll foster a collaborative environment, support First Nations students, coordinate local learning programs, and build strong relationships with universities, training providers, and community organisations.

You'll lead a small team with a shared purpose: to make higher education more accessible, relevant, and empowering for remote learners.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in cross-cultural environments, believes in the power of education, and wants to drive meaningful change.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and day-to-day management of the Hub
  • Support and mentor Coordinators in Hubs across East Arnhem Land
  • Collaborate with universities and training providers to deliver flexible learning solutions
  • Build trust and engagement with internal & external stakeholders
  • Champion First Nations Peoples education & knowledge, voices, and aspirations

What We're Looking For:

  • 2+ years' experience in a similar RUSH role, mentoring educators working in remote locations and delivering education services to First Nations Peoples
  • Effective interpersonal skills, including proficient written and oral communication skills
  • Strong leadership and coordination skills
  • Experience using electronic student management systems
  • Ability to work independently and adapt in dynamic environments
