Oracle Database Expert

Job Overview:

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the performance of our Oracle Database. With expertise in managing large-scale databases, you will work closely with application developers to ensure seamless data management.

  • Maintain, manage, and enhance Oracle Databases.
  • Proven experience in handling complex database systems and billing & CRM systems.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle 19C and above versions.
  • Implement robust security measures and controls to safeguard database integrity.
  • Monitor and optimize database performance, including SQL query tuning, index management, memory optimization, storage configuration, and network efficiency.
  • Execute data migration jobs and scripts as required.
  • Collaborate with application developers to resolve technical issues and improve overall database performance.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
  • Design and implement reliable backup strategies, ensuring timely execution and regular testing of backups.
  • Establish and document database policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Conduct thorough performance testing and evaluation to ensure data security, privacy, and integrity, identifying bottlenecks and deadlock issues.
  • Pursue innovative solutions to simplify and optimize database architecture.
