Job Overview
The Seven Network is seeking a skilled Broadcast Support Technician to join their team. As a key member of the production crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of broadcast equipment and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair broadcast equipment and IT systems
• Collaborate with operational staff, vendors, and third-party providers to resolve issues and manage support needs
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and asset registers
• Stay up-to-date with emerging broadcast technologies and best practices
Required Skills and Qualifications
• Background in broadcast engineering, IT, or related field
• Familiarity with existing broadcast systems (e.g., iNews, Viz, Mosart)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Proficiency in using television tools and measuring equipment
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
