Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Broadcast Support Technician to support our production needs and major broadcast events. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and be able to maintain high uptime and reliability of broadcast equipment and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot broadcast equipment and IT systems.
  • Liaise with operational staff, vendors, and third-party providers to resolve issues and manage support needs.
  • Take ownership of technical development through self-education and staying updated with emerging broadcast technologies.
  • Administer systems, manage capacity and consumables, and maintain detailed technical documentation and asset registers.

Requirements:

  • Background in broadcast engineering, IT, or TV operations experience.
  • Familiarity with existing broadcast systems and project management, scripting, advanced IT admin, and installation experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, teamwork, and documentation abilities.
  • Foundational knowledge in electronics, television technology, IP networking, and OS administration.
