Mobile Equipment Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to work as a Mobile Equipment Specialist. This role involves performing preventative maintenance, repairs, and servicing of mobile plant and longwall equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out breakdown repairs, scheduled servicing, and preventative maintenance on underground mining equipment
- Diagnosing and rectifying faults to ensure equipment reliability
- Working both underground and on surface to maintain equipment
- Completing job-related documentation accurately and on time
- Collaborating with site supervisors and team members to ensure smooth operations
- Adhering to safety procedures, mine site regulations, and industry standards
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Heavy Vehicle Trade Certification (Diesel Fitter/Mechanic)
- Demonstrated experience working on underground mining equipment (mobile & longwall)
- Current RII DES certification and proven competency
- CP Status (Competent Person)
- Knowledge of mine safety regulations and site compliance
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Willingness to travel and work in various field locations
