Job Description

This role involves understanding customer needs, identifying market opportunities through effective product development and management, and producing engineered drawings, including component designs, general assemblies, and P&ID documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Creating mechanical and electrical designs utilising Autodesk Inventor.
  • Leading project estimations, quoting and project management of ETO projects.
  • Maintaining product data for localised product portfolios.
  • Meeting with customers as required, identifying engineered product design needs, providing site commissioning supervision, participating in product launches & supporting key product growth activities.
  • Assisting the Applied Water segment in developing and maintaining a Product Roadmap, product strategy, and implementation plan for localised packaged solutions.
  • Supporting product localisation efforts and collaborating closely with suppliers to ensure alignment and quality.
  • Providing technical training on products to all relevant stakeholders, including the sales team, customers, and channel partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical design engineering.
  • Experience in CAD modelling and drafting.
  • System experience in AutoCAD Mechanical, Creo and/or Inventor.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
