- Your role involves providing exceptional customer service to all customers and caregivers via reception and switchboard.">
Main Responsibilities:

- To respond promptly and efficiently to emergency calls via switchboard, implementing required procedures in a fast manner.">
- To monitor alarm panels and security surveillance, escalating required procedures as applicable.">
- To initiate emergency code calls as per policy and procedures.">
- To provide an efficient paging service to pager holders using internal or external pagers.">
- To ensure callers are connected to the correct extensions with minimal delay in a pleasant and courteous manner.">
- To make outgoing calls as required for caregivers and patients.">
- To escalate and report information system and switchboard faults in accordance with policies.">
- To deal with inquiries at hospital reception areas in a welcoming, calm, and professional manner, demonstrating excellent customer service and values.">
- To deal with and escalate emergency situations according to policy and procedures.">
- To print inpatient lists as required.">
- To advise managers/supervisors of telephone number changes or updates, communicating critical information to stakeholders as required.">
- To ensure patient information is correct and current relating to discharges, transfers, and admissions.">
