Our esteemed client, a Federal Government entity, is seeking a Client Change Manager.

The Change Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring effective change management within a dedicated change team, providing essential support across the client's program for multidisciplinary project teams, Program Managers, Product Managers, and other personnel, as well as external stakeholders when necessary. This role is crucial for the successful implementation of innovative digital and data products and services, utilizing established methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and/or contributing to governance documents related to change management.
  • Assisting delivery teams in identifying the impact of changes on both internal and external stakeholders resulting from the development and rollout of new data and digital services.
  • Formulating, overseeing, and assessing change management strategies that facilitate change processes.
  • Recognizing, documenting, and tracking mitigations for risks and issues associated with change.
  • Engaging in additional change management tasks as required.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • A robust and proven history as a Change Manager, successfully promoting and supporting the adoption of change practices.
  • Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal and external teams independently.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of change management principles and their practical application, including relevant certifications.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills suitable for leading change initiatives at various organizational levels.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, coupled with a genuine passion for enabling team success.
  • Established capacity to influence others with or without formal authority.

Essential Criteria:

  • A proven track record of achieving results aligned with the key responsibilities outlined.
  • Experience working within teams in complex ICT environments.
  • Demonstrated capability to plan and execute change management activities in an Agile framework.

This position is offered on an initial 12-month contract, with the possibility of two additional 12-month extensions. The work arrangement allows for a combination of office and remote work.

Note: Candidates must be Australian citizens and able to obtain AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance due to security requirements.
