ROLE OBJECTIVE:
This position operates under the guidance of the Project or Program lead, collaborating with program/project teams and other essential stakeholders. It is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing benefits management and, when necessary, coordinating with external Business Transformation Partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the benefits realization framework for programs/projects, including the formulation of the benefits management strategy, benefits maps, and profiles.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to establish the change management strategy for each program/project, along with associated change and communication plans, and relevant documentation.
- Execute the change management strategies and ensure the effective implementation of individual plans.
- Oversee external Business Transformation Partners to guarantee deliverables meet quality standards and align with program/project objectives.
- Conduct workshops and perform impact assessments with program/project teams and stakeholders, including Business Outcome Owners and Senior Responsible Owners, to inform planning and execution.
- Mentor and coach program team members and relevant stakeholders to enhance change management capabilities within their respective business areas and elevate the organization's change management maturity.
- Proven experience in crafting and executing change management strategies and plans, along with benefits management.
- Exceptional engagement and presentation skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives and vendors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information persuasively and from a position of expertise.
- Demonstrated capability to mentor and guide project and program management professionals in change and benefits management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Extensive knowledge and experience in delivering digital projects and programs within a governmental framework is essential.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or certifications in Project Management, Program Management, and Portfolio Management are required. This includes one or more of the following: Diploma of Project Management, PRINCE2 Foundations, PRINCE2 Agile Foundations, Management of Successful Programmes (MSP) Foundations.
- Certification in Change Management is essential, such as Prosci Change Management, Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Change Management Specialist (CMS), or other recognized industry certifications.
- Proven leadership in organizational change management within an ICT/digital environment.
- Demonstrated experience in the formulation and execution of change management strategies and plans, along with benefits management.
- Outstanding engagement and presentation skills with a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives and vendors.
- Excellent high-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and from a position of expert knowledge.
