Senior Technical Director

Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technical Director to lead our Mission Systems program. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing technical resources, ensuring service delivery, and fulfilling our obligations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant disciplines, standards, and best practices, including digital engineering. You will also have excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to anticipate future resource demands and skills shortages.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage technical resources for the Mission Systems program
  • Ensure service delivery and fulfillment of obligations
  • Anticipate future resource demands and skills shortages
  • Develop and implement strategies to address these needs
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree in engineering appropriate to a core discipline
  • Established or eligible for professional registration in an Australian jurisdiction
  • Chartered engineering status is highly desirable
  • Minimum 15 years' experience in engineering leadership and management
  • Proven track record of successful project delivery and team leadership
