Job Title

 Our organization is seeking a Technical Governance Director, a pivotal role that will oversee the planning and scheduling of Global Engineering Governance and Assurance activities.

This key position is based at our main locations in UK, Canada or Australia, with flexible working options available. The director will lead international teams and complex programmes.

  • Direct the development of engineering processes and frameworks to ensure optimal technical governance.
  • Manage the Independent Technical Authority framework and its assurance, ensuring it meets organizational standards.
  • Communicate changes in TG&A activity to Engineering Integrity teams effectively.

For this challenging role, applicants should have an extensive background in systems engineering, proven experience across commercial or defence engineering projects, a strong understanding of process development, and the ability to work across international teams and complex programmes.

The ideal candidate will be degree-qualified Engineer and Chartered or Professional Engineer status holder. They must possess excellent leadership skills and the ability to drive innovation and improvement within the team.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management:

  • Oversee the planning and execution of Global Engineering Governance and Assurance activities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project progress and outcomes.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and collaboration.
