Operational Excellence Leader

The successful candidate will oversee the development and management of our O&M service capability, initially focused on Australian solar projects, with plans to expand to onshore wind, offshore wind, and battery storage sectors. This key position is responsible for staffing, revenue, safety, standard operating procedures, reporting, and the entire customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and manage the O&M service capability, including:
    • Developing the solar O&M service team and associated business operating procedures,
    • Creating proposals, soliciting bids, and contributing to contract negotiation,
    • Interviewing, selecting, and training the O&M team,
    • Negotiating and selecting contractors for supply chain establishment,
    • Developing and promoting an active marketing campaign to promote the service capability.
  • During the long-term delivery phase, responsibilities will include:
    • Managing the O&M budget and cost of service to deliver a viable and profitable business,
    • Expanding and growing O&M services to attract new customers,
    • Identifying new work opportunities to grow existing customer revenue by delivering new services and expanding portfolio services,
    • Collaborating with plant OEMs & suppliers to ensure prompt response to warranty claims, future sales, and repairs,
    • Monitoring and maintaining service level agreements with customers and suppliers,
    • Ensuring the O&M business is profitable and delivering a quality service that is efficient and cost-effective.

Desirable Experience:

  • A proven track record in O&M delivery service,
  • Experience working as a manager or team lead,
  • Industry certifications and qualifications relevant to O&M operations.
