The position of Digital Tools Manager involves overseeing the implementation and interface of Operation and Maintenance (O&M) tools with Design and Construction (D&C) systems during the D&C phase, ensuring adherence to system assurance and program delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities:- Support asset management activities, including asset register, production, life cycle cost, organization, and support safety/security processes defined by the O&M HSEQ Director.
- Contribute to the development of project/management plans and configuration management.
- Participate in workshops and develop technical notes with arguments to explain the O&M position.
- Review and assess assumptions taken during the tender stage.
- Provide an overall concept for the implementation of O&M tools, including specifications for O&M tools requiring interfaces with D&C systems.
- Manage subcontractors to support O&M tools implementation.
- Develop and provide Interoperability Control Documents (ICDs) where O&M is in lead and attend D&C workshops.
- Prepare and develop O&M tools implementation plans, operation and maintenance manuals, user and maintenance manuals, installation strategies, test and commissioning strategies, security system assurance, functional descriptions of Security Operations Centers, and development of Security Operating Centers.
- Degree in Engineering or equivalent with a strong foundation in Physics, Electronics, Power Supply, or Computer Science.
- Fluent English language skills.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a Railway environment.
- More than 5 years of experience in Safety and Security environments in Railways.
- Experience in System of Control (SoC) implementation and operation.
- Experience in implementing and operating O&M tools in railways.
