About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and passionate Tradesperson to join our team as an Automotive Body Repair Specialist. As an integral part of our Workshop team, you will learn the skills required to perform minor repairs and service vehicles and equipment in a timely manner.

Job Description

As an Apprentice Panel Shop team member at our depot located in Ryde, you will have the opportunity to work alongside trade-qualified staff and assist in maintaining a fleet of vehicles, including the latest models and innovative vehicle technology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Performing minor repairs and service of vehicles and equipment within your skill level and experience under supervision.
  • Entering into a 4-year training contract within a secure employment environment, undertaking a nationally recognised training program in Auto Body Repair - Cert III Automotive Body Repair Technology.
  • Completing all units of the apprenticeship to the required standards and within the required timeframe.
  • Attending all required TAFE classes under the guidance of your mentors, supervisor, and teachers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong work ethic, good communication skills, and a genuine interest in pursuing a career in the automotive industry. You must also be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or have working rights in Australia.
